Our Story
The company began as a family initiative in 2010 in Ttaaga Village, Masaka District. It was founded on a 5-acre farm managed by my father, who cultivated vanilla, cocoa, and coffee. Driven by strong organization, discipline, and a deep passion for agriculture, he gradually transformed the farm from subsistence farming into a commercial operation.
His commitment and success inspired neighboring farmers to adopt similar practices. Within three years, nearly the entire village had become active growers of vanilla, cocoa, and coffee, creating a strong, united farming community.
As a family, we were deeply involved in this journey. Being the first son, my father ensured that I participated fully in every stage of the farming and value-chain process, which gave me hands-on experience and a solid foundation in agribusiness.
In 2017, after completing my studies, I recognized a major challenge facing the farmers: limited access to reliable and profitable markets. To address this, I proposed the idea of forming an export company that would collectively market and export the farmers’ produce. The idea was warmly received and unanimously supported by the farmers.
The company was officially registered in 2020 and began exporting agricultural products on behalf of the farmers. At the time, the company worked with approximately 300 farmers. Today, it supports and works with over 5,000 registered farmers, reflecting significant growth and trust within the farming community.
In addition, an association was established under the company to support grassroots activities, farmer coordination, training, and community development at the village level.
The company is fully registered and compliant, holding multiple certifications and awards that meet export standards and food safety requirements. With a strong foundation and proven track record, the company now looks forward to expanding its presence by opening branches in key importing markets, including Europe, Asia, and the United States.
